While the emphasis of the Sunday Services is shared worship and ministry of the Word, in the midweek meetings we emphasise prayer and fellowship, and meet in smaller weekly Home Groups in members’ homes. Whilst each group has its own individual character, each would spend time looking at the Bible, praying and spending time getting to know one another. To foster faithful prayer and fellowship, each group meets on a regular night of the week and we encourage people to be committed to one particular group for a good length of time (though there is freedom to move to another group, if another night becomes more suitable).

Each group is led by a Home Group Leader who will arrange venues and leaders for each meeting, and will exercise a measure of care for individuals within the group. However, all members are encouraged to play an active role. Some groups organise special outreach events and groups are encouraged to be outward looking and seeking to grow. It is the elders’ desire that all church members should belong to a Home Group, and new members will be strongly encouraged to make such commitment a priority.
