Martyn Hallett - Elder
		Martyn is a full-time elder within the church. Formerly an English teacher in Inner London, he came to Bedford from Kew Baptist Church to work with Ray Evans at our sister church in Kempston. Martyn and Wendy came into membership at Goldington in 1993. In addition to his church responsibilities, Martyn is Chair of Governors at Goldington Middle School and chaplain to Langley House Trust, who provide accommodation for ex-offenders.
Simon Everitt - Elder
		Simon has been a full-time elder of the church since September 2002. Trained as an engineer, he worked in the power generation industry, including three years at Rolls-Royce Power Engineering (Allens) in Bedford. Simon and his wife Claire moved to the town in 1999 and became members of the church the following year. Previously he had been involved in Woodstock Road Baptist Church, Oxford, and Pershore Evangelical Church in Worcestershire. He is responsible for co-ordinating the church's youth work, and is also involved in working with students, both those from a Bedford background, as well as those who come to study at the University Of Bedfordshire.
David Hartwell - Deacon
		David joined the church eight years ago. He works as a software engineer for a Hertfordshire based company. He is married to Deborah, and they have three sons. He is responsible for the church's recorded tape ministry.
Tim Eaves - Kids on Friday Co-ordinator
		Tim has been involved with youth work for a number of years, including helping with Beach Missions with his wife Sian. Tim is responsible for children's work within the church, including Kids on Friday.
